We never encouraged Halloween in my family. We don’t live in a place to avoid it altogether. So we always found something else to occupy ourselves with. When the kids were little we would go to Discovery Zone or Chuck E Cheese. As they have matured we find ourselves at Schezuan eating Chinese food. It is a good tradition.
One thing I am proud of my children about, besides their ability to create interesting costumes, is their willingness to serve. They both dressed up to work in carnivals and serve the little children.
SCUBA worked the TAMUG event dressed as Tetra from Legend of Zelda.
JEEP and his SWEETFRIEND worked the church event dressed as extreme cyclists.
The Hunter, well, he hunted of course. It is opening weekend.
