Proud to announce my new Grandbaby!

I am happy to share that on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at 10:54PM my fourth grandchild (second granddaughter) was born. She weighs 8.5 pounds and is 19.5 inches long.  Her code-name is SLEEPY and she is a doll.  She and her Mama (SNOW WHITE) are doing fine.

After my first sneak peak at the precious bundle, I escaped the hospital with the older three. We couldn’t leave the hospital without visiting the fountain downstairs.  I think BASHFUL is posing like the doves behind him.

We had a fun weekend watching movies and playing games and eating fabulous food.  HAPPY loves to help in the kitchen, so we made cornbread casserole, monkey bread with sausage, three-cheese grilled cheese with chicken noodle soup, and chili with apple cake to take to the Fall Festival at our church.  The boys had fun with all the cheese.

The festival was inside our church gym since it poured rain all day long.  There were carnival games, a balloon artist, a square dance caller, and a chili cook-off.  The balloon artist was amazing, he made Superman, Ariel the mermaid, animals, and charicatures of our pastor and his wife.  The dancing was fun, DOC was my partner, he did great keeping up with all the taller people.  HAPPY’s chili won first place in the cook-off.  And BASHFUL played every game including bobbing for apples (which is why he is wearing the oversized sweatshirt in the photo with his balloon dog).  It was a great day and a fun weekend.

Sunday after church, we played games and ate more great food and took the kids home to be a help to their mom and dad and new baby sister!

Thanks, SNOW WHITE and the PRINCE, for letting me play with my grandkids.  I hope you got some rest.
